An Experienced Dentist in Waynesville, NC
Dr. Andrew Sharman was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, where he bravely survived the harsh winters for 26 years. After earning his dental degree from the University of Buffalo, Dr. Sharman went on to complete a general dentistry residency at Ft. Benning, where he served as an active duty dentist in the U.S. Army. During his time in the Army, he earned his “Jump Wings”, embraced the challenges and discipline of military service, and met his wife Dr. Serene Nagia.
Following his service, Dr. Sharman worked at the Asheville VA Hospital, providing dental care to veterans. He has a deep passion for all aspects of general dentistry, but finds particular gratification in tackling full mouth rehabilitation cases, helping patients restore both function and confidence in their smiles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sharman is often found being bossed around by his beloved dog Lucy and his rotund cat Lemon. He enjoys fly fishing and getting lost in the breathtaking mountains of Western North Carolina, where he finds peace and inspiration. Dr. Sharman is proud to serve his community, bringing a blend of humor, compassionate care, and a love for his craft to every patient he treats. GO BILLS!!!
